EXTERNAL CONNECTION TO THE
230V MAINS POWER SUPPLY
• The mains connection cable (not supplied with the vehicle)
must have specific characteristics.
• The plug and the socket must have a ground contact in compli-
ance with standard EIC 23-12.
• The cable must be flexible and type H07 RN-F or its equivalent.
• The power supply (or transformer/battery charger) is located
between the external power plug and the services battery. The
power supply operates by being connected to the external net-
work and its function is to recharge the battery and supply low
voltage loads, transforming the external network's 230V AC
supply voltage to the required level for charging.
• The power supply is equipped with an internal surge protection
fuse. Once the optimal charge of the battery has been reached,
current will be passed only partially to avoid boiling.
230V DISTRIBUTION BOARD
• If the circuit breaker trips to '0' or 'OFF', it is advisable to identify
the cause of the fault before reconnecting the power.
• When consulting the control unit panel, it is always a good idea
to check the battery charge and, in particular, whether charging
is taking place correctly.
TANK PROBES
• We recommend that you do not leave water in the tank for long
periods, in particular, grey water. This may damage the probes.
BATTERIES
• The service battery should be disconnected if you do not in-
tend to use the vehicle for an extended period of time. To do so,
just disconnect the appropriate quick-release clamp.
• Only batteries with 'AGM', 'Lead' and 'GEL' technology are al-
lowed to be used, water-tight, sealed and maintenance-free.
The battery must not be repaired in any way, shape or form.
• The service battery must always be replaced by an authorized
dealership or repair shop if it needs to be changed.
• Even when using maintenance-free batteries, it's advisable to
always read the manufacturer's instructions. Pay particular at-
tention to the charging time if the battery is completely drained.
This should never take less than 10 hours.
• It's good practice to fully charge the service battery every 4 to
