WHILE TRAVELLING
DRIVING YOUR MOTORHOME
ATTENTION
• Your motorhome is to be considered a commercial
vehicle and as such, must be driven as one.
• Do not remove your seatbelt whilst driving.
• Do not leave your seat whilst driving.
• Refrain from hard breaking.
ATTENTION
• It is compulsory for passengers to remain in their
homologated seats and wear safety belts in both
forward and backward facing seats whilst the vehicle
is in motion. The total number of homologated seats
is indicated on the vehicle registration certificate and
each seat is identified with a label.
• It is expressly prohibited to move within the vehicle
or use equipment, beds, toilet or lockers whilst in
motion.
• The equipment and facilities present in the
motorhome were designed to be used only when
the vehicle is stationery. The use of such equipment
and facilities whilst in motion is a violation of the
highway code and presents risks which the user
should be aware of. LUANO CAMP does not accept
responsibility for accidents occurring during travel.
• To increase the gross vehicle weight whilst driving,
the clean water tank must contain 20 litres.
ATTENTION
Whilst driving your motorhome, there are a few
things to take into consideration with regard to the
weight and load differences compared with a car.
Specifically:
• Expect longer braking times.
• Be aware of the vehicle's dimensions–especially the
rear–when taking a curve.
• Allow for a reasonably long time when overtaking.
• Be particularly careful when parking and reversing.
• Pay special attention to wind conditions, particularly
when exiting tunnels.
• Take special care when negotiating underpasses
and areas with height restrictions.
