• All DEUS 3000 Series controlled descent devices
have load limitations.
• In some circumstances the DEUS 3000 Series
controlled descent devices may be used for two
person descent.
• Make sure components of your complete rescue
system are compatible.
• Avoid impact loading of your rescue system.
• Pay special attention when attaching connectors
and when selecting an anchorage.
• Always wear appropriate gloves when using DEUS
controlled descent systems.
• Avoid descending into electrical, thermal,
chemical and other hazards.
• Understand and comply – it is the authorized
person's and employer's responsibility to strictly
conform to the following warnings:
– Provide each user with a copy of instructions
– Be aware of regulations
– Use only as specified – do not alter
– User assumes risks of failure to follow
instructions
– Remove immediately from service if equipment
fails to pass inspection
– Be aware of and comply with limitation of user
weight
– Be aware of and comply with limitation of
height of use
– Ensure that all users are trained on proper use,
care and maintenance of this equipment.
