6. The thin PETG replaces the lower PVA-bag. Seal the transition between
the PETG and plaster at the proximal end.
7. Make the outer surface rough.
8. Fill the head of the Central Screw with plasticine or similar.
9. Attach reinforcement material between the Distal Connector and
Aluminum Dummy (Fig. 8b).
10. Drape unidirectional carbon tape between the Distal Connector and
Aluminum Dummy.
11. Apply the reinforcement material layup to agree with the expected
stress.
12. Put the upper PVA bag above the material and Aluminum Dummy
(Fig. 9b).
13. Before the resin gels, fasten a cord around the PVA bag, distally to the
Aluminum Dummy.
14. Drill four ø 6,5 mm holes through the Aluminum Dummy until you
reach the heads of the Set Screws (Fig. 10b).
15. Remove the Central Screw, Aluminum Dummy and the four Set Screws
(Fig. 11b).
16. Remove the socket from the plaster.
17. Carefully push the Distal Connector out of the socket (Fig. 12b).
18. Exchange the Large Square Ring with the Large O-ring (Fig. 13b).
19. Remove all dust, dirt or similar contamination from the socket and the
distal connector.
20. Assemble the Distal Connector and the Lock Body (Fig. 14b).
Note: Make sure the four holes stay aligned.
21. Apply medium strength threadlocker to the threads of the Flat-head
Screws to fasten them.
22. Torque the Flat-head Screws to 10 Nm.
