USE WITH THE DIRECT SOCKET SYSTEM
Icelock 562 Hybrid (L-562400) and (L-562410) are compatible with the
®
Direct Socket system.
Refer to Instructions for use on Direct Socket to make the socket.
1. Mount the Lock Body with the M6X14 screws supplied in the Lock kit
for Direct Socket. It must be fully engaged with the lamination ring.
2. Fasten the Flat-head Screws with medium strength threadlocker and
torque to 10 Nm.
Caution: Do not let Loctite or resin enter the lock body. The lock body will
not operate if contaminated with threadlocker or resin.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Retrofitting the Lock Body between vacuum suspension, the replacement
parts need to be bought separately.
1a. If changing to a passive vacuum system, replace the 90° Unity
connector an outlet port (Fig. I).
1b. If changing to the Unity
ports and replace with the 90° Unity
2. Position the release button on the lateral/medial side, as required by
the amputee.
3. Shorten the plastic release button as necessary.
Attachment Pin
To attach and secure the Attachment Pin for Icelock
Seal-In X Locking liner.
1. Apply Loctite 410/411 or an equivalent to the threads of the Attachment
Pin.
2. Turn the Attachment Pin into the liner umbrella.
3. Torque the Attachment Pin to 4 Nm.
