Safety instructions
WARNING
L
ETHAL ELECTRIC SHOCK
Hazardous electrical voltage on the test probes and interface components for > 25 VAC volt-
age and > 60 VDC voltage!
Apply voltage only if all of the following conditions are met:
The voltage specified on the identification label for the test fixture and the exchangeable
kit must not be exceeded.
Always equip the test fixture with the correct protective conductor wiring, a protective
conductor connection and an integrated safety switch before carrying out testing work.
The test fixture must be customised in a way that ensures it is safe to touch and does not
permit tools with a diameter of > 2.5 mm to come into contact with live parts.
CAUTION
R
ISK OF PIERCING OR PUNCTURE INJURY
Mechanical hazard due to sharp test probes!
Maintenance work must be carried out by trained specialists only!
The installation of test probes must be done using the designated insertion tool only!
CAUTION
R
ISK OF INJURY BY CRUSHING OR SHEARING
Mechanical hazard when drive unit is open!
Before opening the drive unit, lock the pressure frame using the drive unit lock.
Always use the handle to open and close the drive unit.
When closing the drive unit, do not move the anti-pinch protection until the drive unit is low
enough to reach it.
CAUTION
R
ISK OF INJURY BY CRUSHING OR SHEARING
Risk of injury from mechanical moving parts for options with pneumatic or electrical drive sys-
tems!
Do not activate pneumatic or electrical functional units until the housing has been
completely closed!
Before opening the drive unit (debugging), be sure to move the locking bolt into the locking
position! This mechanically fixes the pressure frame in the closed position and blocks any
movement of the pneumatic or electric drives such as the self-opening unit.
CAUTION
R
ISK OF BURN INJURIES ON HOT SURFACES
Thermal hazard due to hot inductor housing for options with electromagnets!
Use INGUN magnet control unit when operating electromagnets for long periods.
CAUTION
H
AZARD DUE TO PNEUMATIC COMPONENTS
Hazard due to escape of compressed air under high pressure!
Observe notifications and warnings from the pneumatic system, e.g., pressure level, or
filter condition
Check for leaks regularly
Any malfunctions and/or changes in the normal operation of the test fixture and the
protective devices must be rectified immediately
All defects must be reported immediately and repaired by qualified personnel
Pneumatic components must be serviced regularly by qualified personnel
