Use
4.1)
Intended use
The manual MA xxxx series test fixture is designed specifically for use in the field of industrial man-
ufacturing/testing of electronic assemblies. The test fixture is connected to an existing test system.
The electronic assemblies to be tested are connected within the test fixture and are then tested or
programmed. An exchangeable kit (ATS) suitable for the electronics to be tested is installed in the
test fixture. The test fixture must be operated only with original INGUN exchangeable kits.
4.2)
Foreseeable incorrect application
Operating the test fixture is not permitted for any of the following incorrect uses:
Operating with partially mounted housing
Operating with unapproved test voltage
Unauthorised modification or conversion of the test fixture by the operator or other staff
Any method of working that compromises safety
Any method of working that goes beyond the intended test operation

Start-up operation
5.1)
Customisation work specific to the unit under test
Customisation work specific to units under test consists of machined holes on the probe plate, the
pressure plate, and the pressure frame plate. It may also include the addition of mechanical sys-
tems for lateral contacting, jigs for adjustment work on the unit under test, population with spring-
loaded test probes, retention clamps, and wiring. The necessary details can be found in the in-
cluded customisation guidelines (INFO 1317).
5.2)
Protective conductor connection
When hazardous voltage (> 25 VAC voltage and > 60 VDC voltage) is used, the test fixture may
