The exchangeable kit must be designed to ensure that tools with a diameter of > 2.5 mm are un-
able to come into contact with live component parts. In addition, connections conducting voltage
into the interior must not be present if the interior contains live parts. Accordingly, the standard
exchangeable kit must be equipped with an additional cover plate as contact protection. This plate
is used to cover all of the screws in the pressure frame plate and seal off all machined holes.

ESD connection
An ESD connection is available for components at risk from electrostatic discharge. With this de-
sign, all electrically-conductive components are connected to the ESD connection on the rear pan-
el of the test fixture. The exchangeable kit's probe plate unit is connected using a spring-loaded
