MECHANIC QUALIFICATION - Please be advised that many bicycle service and repair tasks require specialized knowledge, tools and experience. General mechanical aptitude may not be
sufficient to properly service or repair your bicycle. If you have any doubt whatsoever regarding your service/repair ability, please take your bicycle to a qualified repair shop.
"AN ACCIDENT" – Please note that this manual refers to the fact that "an accident" could occur. An accident could damage the bicycle, its components and, above all, could cause serious
injury to you or a passer-by, or even death.
INTENDED USE – These Fulcrum® wheels were designed and built only for "cross-country", "gravel", and "marathon" use. They are designed for use with brake disc. Do not use them for
mountain, enduro, downhill, freestyle, acrobatic off-road, four-cross or other extreme off-road disciplines. Any improper use of the wheels could result in accidents, physical injury or even
death.
LIFE CYCLE - WEAR - NEED FOR INSPECTION - The life cycle of the Fulcrum components depends on many factors, such as the weight of the user and the conditions of use. Impacts,
blows, falls and improper use in general could compromise the structural integrity of the components, significantly reducing the life cycle; some components are also subject to wear over
time. Please have your bicycle inspected regularly by a qualified mechanic, to check for the presence of cracks, deformations, signs of fatigue or wear (to detect if there are cracks on the
parts, use a liquid penetrant or other microfracture detectors). Before performing this check, it is necessary to disassemble your bicycle, and in particular the pedals. If the inspection finds
any deformation, cracks or signs of impact or fatigue, regardless of how small, replace the part immediately; also excessively worn components must be replaced immediately.
These wheels have been designed to provide levels of performance that are superior to normal wheels, but they also require more frequent maintenance than normal wheels. Decide upon
the maintenance intervals most suitable for you together with your mechanic.
• We do not recommend using these wheels if you weigh more than 90 Kg/198 lbs. Failure to observe this warning may cause irreparable damage to the product.
Note: Tools supplied by other manufacturers for components that are similar to Fulcrum® ones may not be compatible with the Fulcrum® components. Similarly, tools supplied by Fulcrum
Wheels S.r.l. may not be compatible with components from other manufacturers. Always check with your mechanic or with the manufacturer of the tool to ensure compatibility before using
tools from one manufacturer on components from another manufacturer.
The user of this Fulcrum® product expressly acknowledges that the use of the bicycle could involve risks that include the breakage of a bicycle component as well as other risks, leading to
accidents, physical injury or death. By purchasing and using this Fulcrum® product, the user expressly, voluntarily and knowingly accepts and/or takes on these risks and accepts not to hold
Fulcrum Wheels S.r.l. liable for any damage that could derive as a result.
