NOTE: The RED PASSION / RED PASSION 3 wheels were designed for use with a Tubeless Ready or Tubeless cover.
• Before fitting the covers, make sure that the cover and rim are compatible: these wheels are designed to be fitted with covers with a dimension of up to 2.4 inch.
DANGER!
• Never use covers that are larger than what is indicated as this could also cause the wheel to burst suddenly, causing accidents, physical injury or death.
Check that the tape is positioned correctly on the rim, so that the sides of the rim remain free. If the tape needs to be replaced, use only and exclusively
Fulcrum tape (width 20.5 mm), which is available as a spare part and carefully follow the relative instructions provided in the "User manual" provided
with the tape.
• Never use rim tape for inner tubes or other tape with a greater thickness or width, as a reduction in the available height of the tooth where the cover
bead rests could cause the tyre beads to become unseated from the rim and cause accidents, physical injury or death.
2.1 - TYRE INSTALLATION
1) Use a cutter to cut an X at the centre of the valve hole, but without reaching the rim of
the hole itself (Fig.1).
WARNING!
Be very careful not to damage the rim surface with the blade of the cutter in
order to conserve the anodization rim treatment. This prevents oxidation, which
can reduce the life of the rim due to fatigue.
