17) Inflate the wheel to the pressure most suitable for your use, observing the following instructions relative to the maximum
inflation pressure:
RIM 27,5":
tyres MTB 2,0 inch: 2,75 Bar/40 Psi - tyres MTB 2,2 inch: 2,6 Bar/38 Psi
RIM 29":
tyres MTB 2,0 inch: 2,27 Bar/33 Psi - tyres MTB 2,2 inch: 2,06 Bar/30 Psi
tyres GRAVEL 35 - 40 mm: 5 Bar / 72 Psi*
*never exceed the maximum pressure of 5 bars (72 psi), or the limit pressure of the tyre if lower than 5 bar (72 psi).
18) Close the valve (Fig. 15).
2.2 - INFLATING AND DEFLATING THE TIRE
• To inflate the tire: Remove the cap, unscrew the valve and inflate the tire using a compressor or a pump with a pressure gauge to obtain the required pressure, then
tighten the valve and replace the cap.
WARNING!
• Never exceed the maximum pressure indicated in point 17 of the procedure indicated above (TYRE INSTALLATION).
• Excessive tire pressure reduces grip on the road and increases the risk that the tire will unexpectedly burst. Inflation pressure that is too low reduces tire perfor-
mance and increases the probability of sudden and unexpected loss of tire pressure. In addition, premature wear and damage to the rim may occur.
Incorrect tire pressure could cause tire failure or loss of control of the bicycle, resulting in an accident, personal injury or death.
• To deflate the tire: Remove the cap, unscrew the valve, press and hold down the valve to obtain the required pressure then; tighten the valve and replace the cap.
