OPERATION
The Simplex 125 can operate as a time clock or as a time & date stamp. To print on a timecard or a
document, slip the paper or timecard into the paper slot (above the print bar as shown below). De-
pending on the print activation setting, the clock prints when the paper hits the margin stop and/or
when you press the print bar.
The print activation method is programmed by the user. Refer to page 25 for step by step instruc-
tions. The four available print activation settings are:
• Automatic
• Manual
• Combination
• Either

Print head is activated by paper or timecard inserted all the way
into the paper slot.
Print head is activated by pressing the print bar on the front of the
clock.
Print head is activated by pressing the print bar on the front of the
clock while a timecard or paper is inserted all the way into the
paper slot.
Print head is activated by either pressing the print bar on the front
of the clock or by inserting paper or a timecard all the way into
the paper slot.
