RADIO RECEPTION —
MANUAL TUNING
Use the buttons on the tuner.
1 Press the BAND button to select a band.

2 Press the
¥ DOWN or A UP button ito select a
station.
Each time the button is pressed, the frequency changes.
When a station is received,
is displayed.
During FM stereo reception, "AUTO" and t'@ are displayed.
To search for a station quickly (Auto Search)
Keep the ¥ DOWN or A UP button pressed until the tuner starts
searching for a station. After tuning in to a station, the search
stops.
To stop Auto Search manually, press the
¥ DOWN
or & UP
button.
¢ Auto Search may not stop at stations with very weak signals.
When an FM stereo broadcast contains noise
Press the ST/MONO
button or the FM MODE button on the
remote control so that "AUTO" on the display disappears.

Noise is reduced, although reception is monaural.
To restore stereo reception, press the button so that "AUTO"
appears.
Turn off the power of the connected CD player to avoid noise
interferences during radio reception.
