4.2 Transportation and Handling/Displacement
The indications contained in this paragraph must be adhered to during the transportation and handling phases of the machine,
and can occur in the following situations:
storage of the machine;
assembly and first installation of the machine;
dis-installation and dismantling of the machine;
displacement and relocation of the machine.
DANGER:
To carry out the assignment being examined, the following Individual Protection Devices are necessary:
During the transportation or handling of the machine, it is necessary to comply to the following warnings:
Make sure that the lifting equipment is suitable to the weight and dimensions of the machine (please evaluate the technical
sheets of the different types of machines, both WSH and WTH, as reported in Chapter 9 – Attachments).
Do not bump the structure or the guards of the machine with equipment or anything else.
4.2.1 Lifting
DANGER:
Lifting for the displacement and the subsequent positioning of the machine can be carried out with any adequate means that
ensures an efficient and safe lift (for example, with a leverage tool by way of a harnessing system of the machine).
To correctly perform the lifting operations, follow the warnings reported below.
Never use two lifting means at the same time.
Never station below hanging loads.
If you are using steel ropes, always apply the end eye to the lifting hook.
If you are using steel ropes, be careful not to create acute folds, that is, with a curving radius inferior to the one of the end
eyelets of the ropes.
Use ropes of adequate length, so that the angle between the ropes and the horizon is always greater than 45°.
4.2.2 Machine movement
For reduced distances, as in the case of transport to the assembly or storage locations of the machine, it is necessary to use lifting
equipment (for example, forklift and hoists) suitable for the dimensions and weight of the machine.

4.3 Installation

To carry out the assignment being examined, the following Individual Protection Devices are necessary:
The machine must be installed in places where a good recycling and change of air is provided and must be installed only on a
vertical wall. In case of a different installation, we recommend that you contact the producer.
In any case, during the installation leave sufficient space for the machine, in order to perform the maintenance works in safe
conditions.
The probes that allow to calculate the temperature and humidity of the environment that needs to be air conditioned must also be
placed on a vertical wall and blocked by fastening systems (screws).
the Producer rejects any responsibility for any damages to things and/or persons deriving from
improper interventions carried out by personnel that isn't qualified, trained, or authorized.
the lifting operations must be carried out under the direct supervision of a qualified mechanic
maintenance worker or of a technician of the Producer.

during all these operations follow the precautions necessary to avoid knocking and tipping
over, moving the machine in a manner not to loose balance.
ensure there are no unauthorised staff near the zone where the lifting, movement and unloading
operations take place and always keep a safe distance.
the Producer rejects any responsibility for any damages to things and/or persons deriving from
improper interventions carried out by personnel that isn't qualified, trained, or authorized.
