To insert a locking plate, follow these steps:
▶ Remove the magazine from the tool.
▶ Push the corresponding locking plate (1) or (2) into
the magazine as illustrated until the two holes are covered.
Make certain the direction of insertion is correct!
▶ Insert the U-bolt (3) through the two holes.
▶ Turn the nut (4) on the thread of the U-bolt (3).
Use a suitable fork wrench (size 7 mm) to do this.
Venting the fastener driving tool
You can vent the fastener driving tool at any time as long as there
is no compressed air cartridge connected. This may be necessary
for example
• to remove condensation
• before fault rectification (before removing jammed nails, etc.).
▶ To vent the tool, press the red venting button (1):
 The tool can be heard venting.
