Practical cooking tips
-
The oven offers a wide range of alternatives that allow any type of food to be cooked in
the best possible way. Over time you will learn to get the most out of this versatile kitchen
product and the following instructions are only a guide and may vary according to your
own personal experience.
-
The oven is equipped with 5 position guides. As a general rule, use the 2nd and 4th guides
from the bottom, placing foods that require more heat on the 2nd guide from the bottom.
For example, when cooking meat together with other foods, place the grill on the 2nd guide
from the bottom and the more delicate foods on the 4th guide from the bottom.
-
When cooking foods that require different times and temperatures, set an intermediate
temperature between the two required temperatures, place the more delicate foods on
the 4th guide from the bottom and remove the foods that require less time from the oven
first.
-
Use the tray in the bottom guide and the racket in the upper guide.
Grill use
-
Use the Grill mode, placing the food under the centre of the grill (located on the 3rd or 4th
guide from the bottom), as only the central part of the upper heating element is lit.
-
Use the bottom guide (1st from the bottom), placing the tray provided to catch any sauce
and prevent it from dripping onto the bottom of the oven. When using this mode, we
recommend that you set the temperature to the highest setting. However, this does not
mean that you cannot use lower temperatures by simply adjusting the temperature knob.
Baking cakes
When baking cakes, always place them in a preheated oven. Be sure to wait until the oven has
fully preheated (the light will go out). Do not open the oven door during baking to prevent the
cake from reaching its optimum shape.
