MITER DETENT OVERRIDE (FIG. 29a – 29e)
The miter detent override feature allows the
miter detent action to be locked out, allowing
for micro adjustments at any miter angle.
a. To override the detents, unlock the miter-lock
lever by pulling upward.
b. You can set 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6°, and 45°
right/left miter angles quickly. Move the miter
arm until the miter-detent pin completely
snaps into the miter-detent slot (Fig. 29a).
c. Push down on the miter-lock lever to lock the
miter arm in place (Fig. 29b).
d. To disengage, pull the miter-lock lever upward
and press down the miter-detent release
button to change the miter angle.
NOTE: Press hard on the front part of the
miter-detent release button until you hear

a click sound that indicates the override
function is engaged. If you want to disengage
the override function, press the rear part of
the miter-detent release button, and you will
hear a click sound that indicates the override
function is disengaged (Fig.29c – 29e).
