CUTTING CROWN MOLDING FLAT ON THE
TABLE (FIG. 41):
a. Move the sliding fence to the proper position.
b. Set the bevel and miter angles using the
Chart in this section. Tighten the miter-lock
lever and the bevel-lock lever.
c. Position the molding on the saw table. Clamp
the workpiece in place with the work clamp.
WARNING
operation. Before switching on the saw, lower
the head assembly to make sure that the clamp
clears the guard and the head assembly.
d. Activate the main switch. Lower the head
assembly and make your cut.
e. Wait until the blade comes to a complete
stop before returning the head assembly
