BEVEL CONTROL (FIG. 30a – 30d)
The bevel can be adjusted to any angle from 0°
to 48°, left or right.
a. Unlock the bevel-lock lever by lifting it up to
"Bevel Unlocked Position" or until you feel
that the saw head can be tilted (Fig. 30a). Let
go of the bevel lock lever.
b. You can quickly set 0°, 22.5°, 33.9° and 45°
angle (right or left). Tilt the saw head until the
bevel-detent pin completely snapped into the
bevel-detent slot (Fig. 30d).
c. Repeat this step to reach the next detent
position.
d. When the desired bevel detent is reached,
press the bevel-lock lever all the way down to
lock the bevel.
The bevel-lock lever tension has been set at the
factory. After extensive use of the tool, it may
require an adjustment. Before adjusting tension,
unlock the bevel-lock lever to release tension,
use the Allen key to tighten the bevel-lock lever
screw. The tension can be decreased by turning
the screw counterclockwise and increased by
turning the screw clockwise. Check again after
readjusting (Fig. 30c).

BEVEL DETENT OVERRIDE
a. Unlock the bevel-lock lever by lifting it up
and all the way forward to "Bevel Override
Position" (Fig. 30b).

position and tilt the saw to any desired angle
from 48° left to 48° right.
c. When the desired angle is reached, hold the
head steady in position and press the bevel-
lock lever all the way down to lock the bevel
at this angle.
