A two-pole residual-current-operated circuit breaker
of type "C" must always be used to provide fuse
protection for the mains connection. Single-pole
circuit breakers are not permissible.

Checking the direction of rotation
1. Check that the SBM V85 A is correctly connected
to the mains power supply.
2. Switch on the SBM V85 A with the On/Off switch.
3. Close the wheel guard or press the < I > button).
The shaft rotates.
4. Check the direction of rotation of the shaft.

The correct direction of rotation is indicated by a
yellow arrow on the SBM V85 A. This arrow is
situated to the right of the flange.

If the direction of rotation is incorrect, the SBM V85 A
comes to an immediate stop and displays the error
message "3" (see section Faults).

Calibration of SBM V85 A

Calibration must be performed after initial
commissioning.
1. Flange calibration.
2. Vernier caliper calibration.
3. SBM V85 A calibration.
4. Perform reference measurement.
