Safety
Our safety requirements may under no condition conflict with the statutory
requirements and rules that apply to the safety of the vehicle lift. Whenever one
of the warnings or safety requirements conflicts with existing local legislation,
the most stringent rule will always take precedence. Our vehicle lifts type ST
4032 / ST 4040 are protected in accordance with the rules for this type of
equipment.
It is not permissible to carry out any changes to the vehicle lift without our written
consent. If any damage to persons or property is caused as a consequence of
not complying with this requirement, Stertil B.V. will accept no liability for such
damage.
The manager of the workshop or business should ensure that all safety
instructions that apply within the business are strictly observed.

Ensure that you become familiar with the operation and control of the machine.
Follow the instructions exactly.
This document contains a number of special symbols and arrangements that
the user needs to understand. For the indications in the text, see
page 26.

• protective clothing,
• safety shoes.
