Table 6.1 Motor does not turn
Possible cause
Main switch not connected
Mains fuse defective
Control panel fuse defective
Table 6.2 Vehicle lift does not raise
Possible cause
Broken circuit highest position: electrical fault or
vehicle lift stays in highest position
Broken circuit cable break switch: electrical fault or
cable break
Table 6.3 Vehicle lift does not lower
Possible cause
Pawls are not disengaged from the interlock
The electrically-actuated lowering valve for the
hydraulic unit does not open
Broken circuit slack cable: electrical fault or slack
cable
Protection against hose breakage not functioning

Solution
Connect main switch
Replace mains fuse
Notify the service department
Solution
Lower the vehicle lift; for electrical faults refer to the
service department
Refer to the service department
Solution
First raise the vehicle lift 50 mm
No control voltage on magnetising coil, or lowering
valve is defective; to be repaired by the service
department
Raise the vehicle lift and remove any obstacles from
under the tracks. Refer all other cases to the service
department
The service department should replace any hoses;
check the interlocks for damage
