2.4.2 Protection
The vehicle lift is provided with protection (see
ensures that:
• the lowering operations will stop if differences in height between the tracks
exist through the presence of obstacles, after which, in the case of slack
cable(s), it will only be possible to carry out raising operations (5),
• the control current will be disconnected in the event of cable breakage so that
operation is no longer possible (6),
• on reaching the highest position, the raising movement is stopped (2),
• the lowering movement is mechanically blocked when the vehicle lift is not in
operation and on failure of the control voltage (4),
• on hose breakage the cylinder will be shut off by the hose break valve (3),
• during lowering, the vehicle lift will stop at a height of about 140 mm above
the floor (foot protection); after carrying out safety checks, the lowering can
be continued (acoustic signal) by pressing <lower> once again (1).
