Operation
To lower the vehicle lift still further, it must first be raised a bit (to disengage the
interlock). The lowest 400 mm of the lift travel is not fitted with an interlock.
The vehicle lift can be slowly lowered using the valve (5) on the right of the
control panel (see
Figure 4.1 on page
out the following:
1. Shut the valve (5) completely (turn it to the right).
2. Press the lower button (3) and, at the same time, open the valve (5) (turn it
to the left).
The vehicle lift will now slowly lower. By turning the valve a complete turn, the
vehicle lift will lower at normal speed.
4.7.1 Operation
Position the vehicle directly above the wheel free system and locate the bearing
blocks beneath the vehicle's jacking points. Move the adjustable section if
necessary.

Operate the wheel free system using the buttons on the control box mounted on
pillar III.
Using the selector switch (6) on the side of the control panel, select vehicle lift
operation (position 1) or operation of the wheel free system (position 2).
4.7.2 Switching on
1. Turn the main switch (1) to position 1.
2. Set the selector switch (6) to position 1 and use the 'raise' button (2) to raise
the vehicle lift to the desired height.
3. Use the button (4) to lower the vehicle lift to the interlock.
4. Turn the selector switch (6) to position 2 to operate the wheel free system.
4.7.3 Raising
The wheel free system is raised using the top button (2). There is an upwards
pointing arrow next to this button.
