5.1 Replace the power cable
The power cable may only be re-
placed by the manufacturer or its contract
workshops to prevent safety hazards.

5.2 Replace carbon brushes
If the carbon brushes are worn, the
motor stops.
Have carbon brushes checked by a tech-

nician and replaced.
Cause
Screws of die or
punch guide are bro-
ken.
Gear blocked.
Punch is broken.
Die screw is broken.
Power tool switched
off when pulling back.
Power tool switched
off when cutting and
cannot be pulled back.
Power cable is defec-
tive.
Carbon brushes are

Pull power tool out of the workpiece.

Pull power tool out of the workpiece.

Re-mount the dies.
u
Replace the power cable [} 21].

Replace carbon brushes [} 21].

6 Repair
Service, changing, and inspection of power
tools must be done properly.
The safety regulations according to DIN
VDE, CEE, AFNOR, and other regulations
valid in individual countries must be adhered
to.
If a connection line must be replaced, have
this repair done by the manufacturer or its
representative to avoid safety hazards.
