Pump housing
and shaft
1 Refer to Fig. 6, page 10.
Loosen screws (44) holding bearing
cover (46) on pump housing (37).
2 Remove O-ring (47).
3 Remove retaining ring (48) from
pump shaft (40).
4 Using plastic drift (T1), tap out pump
shaft (40) with key (39) from retaining
ring (48) side and remove.
Pump element
1 Remove outlet pin nut (55) assemblies
from both sides of pump housing (37).
2 Using a blunt tool, remove
O-rings (54), (53) and back up
washers (52) from outlet pin nut (55)
assemblies and replace.
3 Remove pump element (1-30)
(† Fig. IPB 1, page 16).
NOTE
Slight force may be necessary to remove
pump element assembly from
housing (37). Tap on crank rod (7) using
a rubber mallet and a piece of brass or
other soft metal until crank eccentric (5)
can be pulled from pump housing (37).
NOTE
Refer to Fig. IPB 2, page 17.
After removal of pump element (1-30),
inspect retaining ring (41),
ball bearing (42) and shaft seal (43)
for wear and/or damage. Replace if
necessary.

Crank rod
1 Refer to Fig. 8. Remove pivot
screws (11) from crank rod (7).

into wrist pin bushing (12) and remove.
NOTE
Ball bearing (6) in crank rod (7)
may become worn. Disassemble crank
rod when ball bearing (6) requires
replacement († Fig. 8).

3 Using a hex head wrench, loosen and
remove two flat head screws (1)
from eccentric (5).
4 Remove counterbalance weights (2).
5 Remove outer (3) and inner (4) retaining
rings from both sides of the crank rod (7).
6 Place crank rod (7) on supplied

in (62 mm) diameter steel pipe (T2)

provided in tool kit 276275.
7 Drive crank eccentric (5) out of
ball bearing (6).
8 Drive ball bearing (6) out of crank rod (7).
Replace if worn or broken.
