SERVICING YOUR SPA FILTRATION SYSTEMS
Basket removal

Shut off the main power.

Grasp basket and turn counter
clockwise 90 degrees until flat sides line
up with basket locks on either side of
the filter and remove basket.

Clean the basket. Avoid hitting basket to
knock debris loose as this can damage
the basket.

Reinstall basket by aligning the flat
edges with the basket locks and rotate
90 degrees clockwise until basket locks
into place.
5
Push weir gate back into place.
6
Turn main power on.
Filter Cartridge(s):
1
Shut off the main power.
2
Remove basket as directed above.
3
Grasp top filter cartridge and pull it out.
(On some systems there may be a
second filter below the first one.)
4
Use cartridge cleaner only as directed
on container.

Reinstall filter cartridge, basket, and turn
power on.
Draining Spa:
It is recommended that the water in the spa be replaced several times each year. (See p.2)
Follow these simple steps to drain your spa.

Turn off the power at the source.

Attach a garden hose to Hose Bib.
3
Open Hose Bib. Spa will now drain.
4
Any residual water in the spa can be easily removed with a sponge.
5
Re-fill the spa through the filter intake to ensure proper priming of the pumps
NOTE: Avoid running pump dry. This will damage pump.

Grasp filter skimmer faceplate and slide
up until it detaches.

Slide skimmer basket/tray out.

Clean the basket. Avoid hitting basket to
knock debris loose as this can damage
the basket.

Reinstall basket

Slide filter skimmer faceplate down into
place.
7
Turn main power on.
Filter Cartridge(s):
1
Shut off the main power.
2
Remove basket as directed above.
3
Grasp filters and rotate anti-clockwise to
remove.
4
Use cartridge cleaner only as directed
on container.
5
Reinstall filter cartridge, basket, and turn
power on.

On Ontario models there is a third
and fourth filters located beneath the
top filters
