CHECKING THE NON-MANUAL CHAIN BRAKE
1. Stop the engine of the chain saw.
2. Operate the front and rear handles with hands, so that the chain saw may be placed at the height of about 0～15cm as shown in
Fig.
3. Softly detach the left hand from the front handle, and touch the end of the guide bar against the log or the like placed below so
that the machine receives an impact.
Do not let your hand off from the rear handle.
4. The brake should activate when the guide bar hits the log.
5. If the chain brake does not function properly, take the saw to your local Service Center.

1. Arrestare il motore della motosega.
2. Azionare le impugnatura anteriore e posteriore in maniera tale che la motosega possa essere collocata a un'altezza compresa tra
0 e 15 cm, come illustrato in Fig.
3. Togliere lentamente la mano sinistra dall'impugnatura anteriore e posizionare l'estremità della barra guida contro il tronco o contro
un altro elemento sottostante, in maniera tale che la macchina riceva un urto.
Non lasciare la presa dall'impugnatura posteriore.
4. Il freno dovrebbe attivarsi quando la barra guida colpisce il tronco.
5. Se il freno a catena non funziona correttamente, portare la sega al Centro assistenza locale.
