OPERATING THE FRONT PANEL

This section of the manual shows the control panel operations to set the operating parameters of the machine. It also
describes the operation of the synergic (automatic) adjustments that speed up the setting of machine parameters and
allow the obtention of optimum welding results.
When the machine detects that a welding process has begun, it automatically positions the settings graphing the rated
current position - Inom - and selects it to enable its alteration throughout the welding process. This means that the rated
current value can be altered by just rotating the control dial, without having to press it.
As shown in the following figure, the front panel is divided into several areas.
A- DISPLAY AND FAULT INDICATORS
The display and fault indicators can be found at the top of the control panel. The display shows the value of the para-
meters concerned. To its right, the indicator light for the units of the parameter in question lights up. While the machine
is welding, the rated current value at which the machine is operating is shown. The value shown, takes into account the
setting correction introduced by remote potentiometers.
The fault indicators are:
This indicator lights up when the electronic circuit of the machine overheats.
This indicator lights up for any other faults that may appear.
The display also shows the error or alarm codes, providing a more explicit information on the cause of the fault.
