between the electric fence and the mains which should have at least the same
protection class as the insulation that is prescribed for the fence energiser (standard
IEC 60335-2-76 § 14, 16 and 29 as well as regional variations where applicable, such
as the minimum requirement for insulation prescribed in the standard EN 60335-2-76).
Therefore, never connect a mains-operated appliance to an electric fence unless this is
expressly allowed in the operating instructions of the appliance. See also section 2.2:
The devices should be installed protected from the weather if they are not intended for
outdoor use and do not have at least IPX4 degree of protection.
The minimum requirements for insulation cited above also refer to the chargers
for battery-operated fence energisers. Unless stated otherwise in the operating
instructions of the fence energisers or battery chargers, a fence energiser may
not be connected whilst its battery is being recharged on a mains-operated
battery charger.
10. WZG Warranty Conditions
This product carries a three (3) year manufacturer's warranty for materials and
workmanship. The warranty also covers possible overloads caused by thunderstorms.
The warranty of three (3) years begins with the purchasing date on the receipt. To
claim the warranty, the customer should return the defective product to the
manufacturer, reseller or the nearest WZG Service Partner at customer's own
expense. The warranty claim must be accompanied by a description of the fault, a copy
of the sales receipt and the customer's contact data. The manufacturer/WZG Service
Partner will repair or replace the defective product and return it as soon as possible.
The warranty does not cover any damages that are caused by incorrect or careless
use of the product, installation that does not correspond to the provided instructions
and other damages which may arise due to causes beyond the control of the
manufacturer. The warranty does not cover any direct, indirect or consequential
damages caused by use of the product or by the fact that the product could not be
used. The liability of the manufacturer is limited to the price of the product in maximum.
Important:
Do not open the device! Do not try to repair the device yourself! This
is strictly forbidden! Only the manufacturer and authorised customer service
partners have the right to repair the device. The manufacturer will accept no
liability for consequential damages resulting from failure to observe these
regulations.
