8.2 Diagnosis and Service Indicators
LED 1 (Fig. 5, item 1) and LED 6 (Fig. 5, item 6) serve as diagnostic and service indicators.
Information is exchanged with the AXON-Bus prosthetic system when the battery charger is con­
nected to the charging receptacle. The indicators show when service is required or there is an
error in the Axon-Bus prosthetic system.

This product may not be disposed of with regular domestic waste in all jurisdictions. Dis­
posal that does not comply with the regulations of your country may have a detrimental
impact on health and the environment. Please observe the information provided by the
responsible authorities in your country regarding return and collection processes.

10 Legal Information

10.1 Liability
Otto Bock Healthcare Products GmbH, hereafter referred to as manufacturer, assumes liability
only if the user complies with the processing, operating and maintenance instructions as well as
the service intervals. The manufacturer explicitly states that this device may only be used in com­
bination with components that were authorised by the manufacturer (see instructions for use and
catalogues). The manufacturer does not assume liability for damage caused by component com­
binations which it did not authorise. The device may only be opened and repaired by authorised
Ottobock technicians.
10.2 CE Conformity
This product meets the requirements of the European Directive 93 / 42 / EEC for medical devices.
This product has been classified as a class I device according to the classification criteria out­
lined in Annex IX of the directive. The declaration of conformity was therefore created by the man­
ufacturer with sole responsibility according to Annex VII of the directive.

Probable cause
There are no errors

Service required
The battery charger or the
power supply unit is defective.
Remedy
Check the Axon-Bus prosthetic sys­
tem for error messages with AxonSoft
560X500. If no error messages
appear, contact Ottobock Myo-Ser­
vice.
The Axon-Bus components should be
serviced by Ottobock Myo-Service.
The service intervals depend on the
period of use for the AXON-Bus
prosthetic system. However, regular
servicing is required during the guar­
antee period.
Omitting a scheduled service inspec­
tion voids the guarantee.
