Example 3 – The chart of Figure 5.14 shows that the temperature increased gradually. That event may indicate
problems such as:
a) Dust accumulation on the motor,
b) Material accumulation on the fan cover,
c) Bearing in an advanced level of deterioration.

Example 4 – The chart of Figure 5.15 shows that the surface temperature increases along one day, but it returns
to the initial state. This event, when analyzed together with the ambient temperature, indicates that the motor
did not change its behavior, and the rises in the readings along the day occurred only due to the influence of the
ambient temperature.
