7.6. PROCEDURE TO INSTALL THE SENSOR ON THE MOTOR
For the correct mounting of the sensor on the motor, follow the steps below:
1. With the motor turned off and following all the safety instructions in this manual, locate the motor fin where
the sensor must be fixed. According to the positioning guidelines indicated in item 7.2, make the marking to
drill.
2. Drill a hole using a 5.9 mm (15/64") drill bit to fasten the bushing.
3. Using a hammer, insert the knurled bushing into the hole until the flange touches the motor fin.
(Note: If the sleeve is inserted without the aid of hammer means that the hole was slightly larger diameter, in
which case the sensor fixing the engine will be compromised Therefore, it is necessary to make a new hole
for the correct fixing of the bushing).
4. Using a 3 mm allen wrench, screw the sensor into the knurled bushing and check its tightness. Maximum
tightening torque of 2.8 Nm.
