Rechargeable battery
The rechargeable battery (see fig. 1, item 2) consists of 2 cells with integrated electronics. This
protects the battery against short circuits, overvoltage, undervoltage and charging outside the
allowable temperature range.
Communication cable
The communication cable (see fig. 1, item 3) is used to exchange data and connects the respect­
ive prosthesis component to the battery.
Supply cable
The supply cable (see fig. 1, item 4) establishes the connection between the battery and the
respective prosthesis component.
3 Application
3.1 Indications for use
The product to be used exclusively to supply energy to myoelectric upper limb prosthesis com­
ponents.
3.2 Area of Application
The product has been developed for use in everyday activities. It must not be used for activities
where it would be exposed to unallowable environmental conditions or strains (e.g. extreme
sports).
3.3 Conditions of use
The product is intended exclusively for use on one patient. Use of the product by another person
is not approved by the manufacturer.
Permissible ambient conditions are described in the technical data (see Page 21).
3.4 Qualification of the prosthetist
The fitting of a patient with the product may only be carried out by an orthopaedic technician.
