6 Preparation for use
6.1 Required machines, tools and materials

6.2 Laminating instructions
INFORMATION
Laminate the socket according to the state of the art (see 646T333 technical information).
6.3 Removing the lamination ring
Complete the following steps to remove the lamination ring:
1) Set the compensation to the minimum level using the dial.

NOTICE
Do not remove the lifter strap
The lifter strap must not be removed from the elbow ball. Fixing the lifter strap in place (e.g. with a haemostat) is
no longer necessary.
6.4 Sealing the product
Complete the following steps to seal the product:
1) Clean the lamination ring so it is free of grease and dirt.

636W60 Adhesive (Loctite 243)
•
Pattex Repair
•
89Z1 Tweezers
•
Knives
2) Secure the lifter strap.
3) Turn the friction screw until the lamination ring can
be unscrewed from the elbow ball.
4) Completely unscrew the lamination ring from the
elbow ball.
5) Carefully remove the electronics housing from the
lamination ring.
