Contra-indications
− Avoid treatment in a single area for an extend-
ed period of time (more than 30 minutes, up to
3× per day), as the muscles in that area may tire
and become sore.
− Skin irritation and burning may occur beneath
the stimulation electrodes.
− Electrical stimulation in the vicinity of the eyes
or on the head and face may cause headaches
and other painful sensations.
− If you experience adverse effects, stop using
the device and consult your physician.
− The use of electrodes that are too small or
improperly placed may lead to discomfort or
burning of the skin.
Do not use on the neck (especially
the sinus caroticus) or the throat, as
this may cause severe muscle spasms
and closing of the trachea, leading to
breathing difficulties or a negative
impact on heart rhythm or blood
pressure.
