Technical malfunctions and
troubleshooting
Fault
The batteries have
been inserted, but
the display is blank.
The battery dis-
play is working,
but the adhesive
electrodes are not
transmitting elec-
tric current.

Cause
There may be debris
in the battery com-
partment. Check to
see if the batteries
are full and are
inserted with the cor-
rect polarity. Check
to see if the batteries
are making contact.
There is a fault in the
electronics.
The lead wires
are not properly
assembled.
Solution
Any foreign materials
should be removed.
Replace the batteries
with fully charged
batteries. Make sure
the polarity is correct.
Remove the batteries
and put them back in
after approx.
3 seconds.
Check that the con-
nections to the device
and to the adhesive
electrodes are good.
