Introduction
Cleaning the Brush and
Brush Tank
The Marsh Electra Tape Dispenser requires very little maintenance, but it is important to regularly
clean the brush, brush tank, and cutter. Twice a year, clean and lubricate the gears and other moving
parts inside the gear case. And depending on your use, further adjustments that can be made.
To clean the brush and brush tank:
1. Turn the switch to the OFF position and unplug the power cord.
CAUTION: The water in the tank and the exposed heater tube may be hot.
2. To clean the brush soak it in warm soapy water for five minutes, then rinse.
Clean the tank by rinsing it with warm clear water.
3. Remove the tank from the machine by undoing the fastener and then clean the tank by rinsing
it with warm clear water. Reattach the tank using the fastener.
