Adjusting the Water
Temperature
You will rarely need to adjust the water temperature because the factory sets the thermostat for nor-
mal operation.
If the tape is not sticking to the carton, or if you are using tape other than standard adhesive tape,
or if both of these situations exist, you may need to change this adjustment. (See the
Troubleshooting section for information about tape not sticking to the carton.)
To change the thermostat setting:
1.Turn the switch to the OFF position and unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the water bottle and unhook the water regulator.
3. Remove the brush tank (with the hose and regulator attached) from the tape dispenser by
undoing the fastener and pulling holding clip to the left (when facing the front of the
machine.)
CAUTION: The water in the tank and the exposed heater tube may be hot.
