6 Preparation for Use

6.1 Preparation of the Adapter
1) Attach a hook and loop strip to the domed side of the adapter (see fig. 2).
2) Attach the second hook and loop strip to the inside of the DynamicArm.
INFORMATION: The position of the hook and loop strip inside the DynamicArm can be
selected freely.

6.2 Wiring the Adapter

INFORMATION
Plugs marked with a colour dot may be connected only to ports with a colour dot!
6.2.1 Connecting Wiring between the DynamicArm and Adapter
Use the two cables with the three-pin plugs for the connection between the DynamicArm and the
adapter.
1) Lubricate the cable connectors with silicone grease (see fig. 3).
2) Connect the three-pin plug to the port on the adapter.
The colour-coded plug must be connected to the colour-coded port (see fig. 4).
6.2.2 Connecting the Wiring between the Adapter and Electric Rotator
1) Attach the motor cable of the DynamicArm to one of the two no. 3 contacts (see fig. 6).
2) Connect the three-pin adapter plug to the no. 2 contacts.
The colour-coded plug must be connected to the colour-coded contact.
6.2.3 Connecting the Wiring between the Adapter and Coaxial Plug
1) Connect the three-pin adapter plug to the no. 2 contacts of the coaxial plug (see fig. 7).
2) The motor cable must not be attached to the coaxial plug.

6.3 Finishing the Adapter

1) Press the adapter with the hook and loop strip onto the hook and loop strip inside the Dynam­
icArm (see fig. 8).
2) Thread the connecting cable into the DynamicArm.

7 Cleaning and Care

1) Clean the product with a damp cloth and mild soap (e.g. Ottobock 453H10=1 Derma Clean)
when needed.
Ensure that no liquid penetrates into the system component(s).
2) Dry the product with a lint-free cloth and allow it to air dry fully.
8 Disposal
In some jurisdictions it is not permissible to dispose of these products with unsorted
household waste. Disposal that is not in accordance with the regulations of your country
may have a detrimental impact on health and the environment. Please observe the
instructions of your national authority pertaining to return and collection.
