Turn the knob clockwise (pos.1) to turn the

burner off . The pilot light will remain on to
allow the burner to be re-lit.
If the safety thermostat is tripped, the appliance
has to be restored to the initial working condi-
tions as follows.
Pull off the knob (A).

Undo the screws (C) and remove the control

panel (B).
Press the button (D) on the safety thermostat

to re-start the gas supply to the oven burner.
Replace the control panel (B) and the knob

(A) on completion of the operation.
If the appliance is to be out of use for a lengthy
period, proceed as follows.
Turn off the gas supply tap and cut off the

mains electricity supply using the appliance's
master switch.
Clean the appliance and the surrounding

areas thoroughly.
To ensure correct use of the appliance, the
following rules should be adopted.
– Use only the accessories recommended by the
manufacturer.
– Take care not to scratch or chip the surface of
the plate, to ensure maintenance of its charac-
teristics and hygienic cooking.
– Take care not to pour water onto the griddle
when hot, since the temperature diff erence
might damage the surface of the cooking
plate.

– When cleaning, use only food-approved
detergents.
