Special Maintenance Work

Check for leaks again after servicing and/or replacing parts.
We recommend having all maintenance jobs carried out by
Dräger. Keep a record of the servicing (see "Record Card" on
page 36).
Replacing the Gloves
Pull the rubber ring off the over-
glove if necessary.
Pull off the overglove.
Lift the edge of the rubber cuff
with your fingertips and press the
supporting ring and the glove out
of the sleeve with the ball of your hand.
Pull old glove off support ring and arm cuff
Pull a new glove onto the support-
ing ring and the arm cuff until the
bulge at the glove exceeds the
upper edge of the supporting
ring.
Push glove with support ring and
sleeve cuff through opened zip
fastener and into sleeve of chemical protective suit, then
push glove through rubber flap at edge of sleeve.
Check and align: the left-hand glove belongs in left sleeve,
etc. The palm of the glove points towards the sleeve seam.
The long axis of the elliptic supporting ring is parallel to the
palm.
Reach into the sleeve and press the glove with support ring
and arm cuff (if applicable) into the rubber flap until the bot-
tom edge of the support ring rests against the edge of the
rubber flap.
Install overgloves, if necessary:
Pull the shaft of the overglove over both bulges of the glove
arm ring and fix it with the associated rubber ring.
NOTICE
You can wear the knitted overgloves without further securing
means (the knit band fits closely to the wrist) or pull them
over both bulges of the glove arm ring and fix them with the
associated rubber ring.
1) The sleeve cuff is not part of the standard equipment.
Replacing the Protective Boots

Otherwise, proceed as follows:

boot.
Fold down protective strip.
Use a screw driver to pry open the
squeezing clip and remove the
clip.
Take care not to damage the chemical protective suit.
