The gate moves with jerks, is
noisy or stops halfway.
The closing command fails to
close the gate.
The key release is very stiff or is
blocked and when the opening
command is given, the motor
starts but the gate does not move.
The geared-motor works very
slowly by making sounds and
vibrations (as if it were braked).

TROUBLE-SHOOTING

PROBABLE CAUSE
No power supply.
The circuit is incorrectly connected.
The remote control is faulty.
The control unit is faulty.
The end sensor is incorrectly connected
or faulty
The manual release has been used.
The motor end sensor connection is
inverted and the motor is pushing the
gate in the wrong direction.
The clutch is loose
The rack is weighing on the pinion or
the sections are not set at a correct
distance.
The guide is uneven or the gate is stiff
to move.
The clutch setting is too low.
The geared-motor power is insufficient
for the gate.

The connections are faulty.
The gate stops against the mechanical
stop before it is stopped automatically
causing loaded blocking of the gears.
The gate knocks against the mechani-

causing the breakdown of the electrical
brake.
SOLUTIONS
Restore the power supply connections
Check that the control unit connections
are correct and not disconnected.
Check that the remote-control battery
is charged.
Check that the transmitter and receiver
codes match.
Check receiver functioning.
Check the fuses.
Check the control unit logic functions.
Check the functioning and connection
of the end sensors.
Close the manual release.
Restore correct connections of end
sensors.
Set clutch correctly.
Check the rack and restore correct
position.
Check the guide and wheels and im-
prove sliding smoothness.
Set the clutch correctly; if this inter-
feres with safety, add other safety de-
vices.
Use a more powerful geared-motor (see
paragraph TECHNICAL FEATURES).
Check the photocells and relative con-
nections (see control unit).
Restore correct connections.
Check the position of the end plates
and the braking times.
Check the correct functioning of the
