Mobilizing and securing the patient

Functions

Therapeutic mode

The Primo
automatically works in continuous (or static) mode at low pressure.
The pressure in the air bladders is automatically regulated by the innovative I-
mmersion
pressure control system.
Irrespective of the positions of the bed frame articulations, this patented
technology permanently detects the weight and the position of the patient and
dynamically adjusts the pressure of the support accordingly.
The I-mmersion
fault occurs in the control system.
The Primo
is designed for optimal therapeutic benefits when the adjustable head
section is inclined to between 0° and 45°.
The performance of the Primo
Patients are ideally positioned when their hip is aligned with the patient position
indicator on the bed.

Maximum inflation

This function increases the pressure inside the mattress in order to obtain a
firm surface that facilitates patient movements when washing or changing
position.
During the time of inflation, about 5 minutes, the effect of the I-
mmersion
sensor is canceled, and the inflation green indicator light flashes. The
device automatically returns to therapy mode.
This function is also used to inflate the seat cushion (see "Seat cushion" page 33).
170924(2) - EN - Primo
technology also includes an alarm that is activated whenever a
diminishes at angles greater than 45°.
