Replacing the fuse on the power socket

1.
Disconnect the device.
2.
Remove the power cord of the connector.
3.
Remove the fuse box located on the power socket using a small
screwdriver.
Check that the new fuse matches the characteristics on the label and meets the
IEC 60269-1 standard.
4.
Replace the old fuse.
5.
Securely close the fuse box.
Two others fuses are located on the alimentation card.

If the problem is not solved, contact your local Hill-Rom representative (see back of
manual). Indicate the serial number of the device, which can be found on the
control unit, when requesting repairs.
De-commissioning
The device and its accessories should be cleaned and disinfected before de-
commissioning.
Decommissioned equipment materials (plastics, electrical components,
etc.) must be recycled in accordance with local recycling regulations.
Always meet the applicable demands and local rules relating to
environmental protection, in particular for waste from medical devices.
Do not dispose of electric and electronic equipment in the waste bin (as
per directive 2012/19/EU).
Never discard the batteries or accumulators of your device. They may
contain substances and metals that are hazardous for the environment
and health (as per Directive 2006/96/EC).
