WARNING: Danger to health from improper use
Small parts can be swallowed or block the respiratory
tract, thereby posing a choking hazard. Therefore, infants
and anyone who requires assistance must remain under
constant supervision during the inhalation treatment.
WARNING: Danger of infection from contaminated
nebuliser
Follow the hygiene regulations before each use and after
any prolonged interruption in use. Make sure that the
nebuliser has been cleaned and disinfected before it is
used for the first time or after any previous treatment (see
Chapter "Hygienic re-use", page 55).
CAUTION: Impaired treatment due to damaged parts
Inspect all nebuliser components and accessories before
every use. Replace any broken, misshapen or seriously
discoloured parts. Please also follow the instructions for
assembly given below. Damaged components and/or an
incorrectly assembled nebuliser may impair functioning
of the nebuliser and thus treatment as well.
WARNING: Danger of infection by
cross-contamination
If the nebuliser is used for more than one patient, there is
a risk that germs will be transmitted from one patient to
the next via the nebuliser and its accessories. To avoid
this, the nebuliser and the accessories must be replaced.
