Setting up the liquid-softener metering

Danger!
Dangerous voltage. Adjustments should only be carried out
by a qualified electrician.
n Determine local water hardness
– via local water supply company,
– by using a water hardness tester (Order no. 6.768-004).
n Roof is removed.
n Open switch cabinet on operating console.
n Set rotary potentiometer (1) according to water
hardness. The correct setting is shown in the table.
Example:
Set the rotary potentiometer to position 6 on the scale for
a water hardness of 2.7 mmol/L. This results in a delay
interval of 31 seconds, i.e. the solenoid valve opens
briefly every 31 seconds.

n Close switch cabinet on operating console.
n Put on the roof again.

Filling up with operating materials

n Open fuel tank and pour in fuel.
n Open detergent reservoirs and pour in detergents.
9.

Initial start-up

n Turn on water supply.
n On the operating panel switch the system to continuous
operation (∞) (see Chapter B).
n Set washing operation switch to 1.
n Select washing programme 1.
n Check settings on the printed circuit board or set own
requirements (see Chapter B.2.3).
