4.1.3 DOSING ROLLERS
- Large diameter to reduce the number of revolutions and avoid
fertilizer load losses;
- High number of cells arranged in a steggered pattern to
guarantee uninterrupted delivery;
Assembling and disassembling the dosing roller
All the GASPARDO dosing rollers are compact units constructed
in a single block (except for the fine seeds dosing roller, yellow).
Never fit dosing rollers with screws loosening the handwheel!
The radial precision of the wheels, which are calibrated after
assembly, could be damaged!
Always use gloves: after calibration, the new dosing rollers
could have sharp edges that might injure the operator!
The standard wheels are produced staggered over two rows.
There are various types of wheels for a wide range of applications,
in three different product families:
5 elements, 8 chambers per wheel, wheels staggered
red:
over two rows (mod. G1000) (A, Fig. 27);
yellow:5 elements, 32 chambers per wheel, single staggering
(fine seeds dosing roller) (mod. F25-125) (B, Fig. 27).
As described above, remove the round belt of the agitator, then
screw the handwheel to the side of the dosing roller (Fig. 28) and
proceed when the machine is completely empty.
Once the fastening knob of the dosing roller has been released,
it remains connected to the doser casing, in order to safeguard
against it being accidentally lost (Fig. 29).
Slide the dosing roller out sideways (Fig. 30)...
... and remove it from the doser (Fig. 31).
To re-assemble, follow the steps in reverse order.
