4.7 SEED LEVEL IN THE HOPPER
The level of seed in the hopper can be easily controlled by the
operator from the driver's seat by checking the indicator (Fig. 75).
4.8 REAR SPRING HARROW
The normal working position of the harrow is shown in Figure 76.
In this position, the wear on the teeth, between the long and the
short one is even and uniform. By adjusting the regulating handle
(A), it is possible to change the angle of the harrow.
The working pressure of the spring-loaded teeth can be varied
by rotating the spring (B) located on the upper parallel arm (Fig.
77).
For road transport, the teeth of the seed covering harrow must be
turned downwards (Fig. 78).
1) Position the spring (C) as shown in Figure 78.
2) Lift the seed-covering harrow so as to hook the lever (D Fig.
78).
3) Lift the pin (E Fig. 45) and slide the harrow to the next automatic
hook of the pin (E Fig. 78).
