Storing the power cord
WARNING
•
Always properly handle the power cord to avoid the risk of entanglement, damage to the power cord, or potential
shock hazards. If the power cord is damaged, immediately remove the product from service and contact the
appropriate maintenance personnel.
•
Always unplug the product power cord from the wall when using oxygen administering equipment. Possible fire
hazard exists when this product is used with oxygen administering equipment other than nasal, mask type, or half
bed-length tent type.
•
Always store the power cord before transporting the Birthing Bed.
To store the power cord, wrap the power cord around the
roller bumpers that are located between the headboard
and the IV pole at the head end of the product.
Transporting the Birthing Bed
WARNING
Always store the power cord before transporting the Birthing Bed.
To transport the Birthing Bed:
1.
Press the Siderail Bed Motion Control Lockout button to lock all siderail bed motion controls (see
panel (Outside siderail) on page
2.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
3.
Store the power cord (see

Lower the IV pole to allow it to safely pass through door openings.
5.
Raise and lock the siderails in the highest height (see
